Falls 2004

So Falls Festival is over for another year. I wear the sun burn on legs, shoulders and lower back, of spending too much time Viewing the wonderful bands that were playing. I listened to the Beautiful Girls, Ash Grunwald, Veruca Salt, Missy Higgins, Feel to Erin, The Cat Empire, The John Butler Trio, The Living End, Sarah Blasko, Xavier Rudd, Billy Bragg, Spiderbiat and heaps more. I really did enjoy myself and I can’t see myself spending New Years any other way. I am very tired at the moment, so here are some pictures and more to come later in the week.
First, this is the line up to get in. This is the main dirt road at the first of three checkpoints to get it. It tooks us three hours, the night before to be set up. The Labrynth and Spirited Away were played on the open air cinema.

This is the Valley (main) stage. It has beautiful views and many of the acts said how priviledged they were to be playing at the falls.

In the words of Tim Roger s ( and the story behind it has him very, very OFF HIS FACE on stage , falling over, knocking himself unconcious and had to be dragged off stage) “Hippie Shit”

At our tent : Timmy, Lizzy, Matty and Moi

  1. G’day Josie!
Glad to see you had a great time at the Falls. I’d have loved to have been there, maybe one year in the future.
    Cheers,
